Retreat and Believe

Several months ago, the opportunity to attend a faith based marriage retreat for military veterans and their spouses came about. We leave soon, across the country, all expenses paid. Thank you Jesus for this incredible opportunity. At one time, my husband was excited to go, now he really isn't. He made a comment that he is only going because, "once I wanted to go, now I don't and for that I have no choice". I've been praying, fasting, and believing that this trip will forever change the lives of all the couples attending. The speakers will forever remember just how faithful God is. I can't wait to share this adventure with my husband, and I can't wait to see just what God has in store for us. The flight arrangements have been sent to us, the time off from work has been approved, and now I'm just trying to fit all my stuff into a carry on.

Obviously God is in control and has perfect timely. However, I have been praying and believing this trip would be within God's perfect timing.

Never Stop Praying For Your Husband...

My testimony was posted on Unveiled Wife, and I am beyond thrilled with the response. Jen, again thank you so much for sharing my story. It took a lot of courage for me to share the testimony thus far, and to be honest I was extremely scared! I spend several months praying over the words, adding additional punctuation, and perfect posting timing. I am so amazed at the response it received. I may or may not have jumped on facebook and refreshed the posting thread to read the comments. (Note to self: don't take the cruel comments seriously..pray for them instead.) WITH THAT SAID! I'm keeping the comments open here, if you feel like you want to comment. However, know that if you do comment with drama, I won't be feeling bad, or allowing your negative comment to effect how I pray for my marriage...instead I'll pray for you! Some commenters had genuine concern, and for you I have things to share to help clear up those concerns.

From the bottom of my heart, I am incredibly happy this blessed someone.

Follow Along

Thank you so much for visiting my new blog. I decided to start this once Jennifer at Unveiled Wife shared my testimony. I've been in contact with Jennifer for a while now, sharing my story, asking for prayers, and telling praises. The testimony isn't over yet, which is why I wanted to start this blog. We always hear the message after the mess, the testimony after the test. I thought, "why not share the story as it is happening". I chose to remain anonymous in my testimony on Unveiled Wife for personal reasons, that started out as just lies from the devil. However, I don't want to be identified just yet, as I want God's glory to shine through this adventure. I am putting so much faith into my husbands salvation, and trust in God to restore my marriage to Christ centered. I wanted to take the step of faith and let other wives in on the journey. I put my husband, my marriage, and my trust in the palm of Gods hands.

I hope you follow along, and find hope in the story. I hope you don't hesitate to email, or comment. I can't wait too see how God can use this to bless you. Thanks again Jennifer for sharing my testimony on your blog.
